I didn't know where else to post this so I thought this would be the best place. I have a Technics SL-1200MK2. Recently it has started to buzz whenever it is connected. any thoughts on this would be appreciated!

Check that the black cable has not broken, it connects to the little tonearm PCB under the round metal plate the RCA's come out from. What I actually did with mine was to cut it to about an inch in length and solder it to the shield of the RCA's so I dont even have to deal with it at all

I opened up the little plate on the back. The black wire you were talking about is connected on one end but not on the other. Where exactly should i re-solder that too?

you dont have it connected to your mixer?

We may be talking about two different things. Are you referring to the small black wire in this picture, or the RCA cable?
