simultaneos midi and audio recording

Please,could You answer me what is the procedure to record a few MIDI and few
AUDIO tracks at the same time.I want to record MIDI from kick,snare and tom
drumpads,and in same time hihat/cymbals in audio.I have Cubase VST/32 r02,
in Windows platform.Thank You in advance

hi boban, I can't help you with question because I'm still learning, but I would suggest that you visit the steinberg site and download r6.....it won't cost you anything and I'm sure r6 will out-perform r2.

Go to this page and check out the procedure for recording multiple audio tracks. This displays an "R" column in the arrange window. I've never tried to record MIDI and audio at the same time, but I believe all you need to do is click on the "R" column for each track---MIDI and audio---that you want to record.
