Simple system for vocal overdubs

I have a lot of premixed stuff where I have to add and change vocals. I'm not a gear guy by a long shot. I have a Mac laptop, an M-Audio premobile, a Rhode NTK, and Garageband. The set up is OK, but I'd like to get warmer more resonant vocals. Any suggestions?

Without hearing anything, some ideas might be to use some compression, reverb, delay....etc....
Takes some experimentation.
