when im working with absynth, if i click the absynth window off for the midi track im working on, i cant get it to reappear. there doesnt appear to be a "show absynth" option in cubase SX because absynth is a seperate program, even though im using it as a plugin. Also, how can i undo something i did in absynth? i didnt see any history being recorded of my actions in abysnth, and hence no way of undoing it.

There is a button on the mixer for that channel (Or in the Inspector Window), alternatively you could push F11 and bring up the VST Instruments window, and click the "e" next to Absynth. As far as undo in Absynth, I assume you are refering to creating sounds (As any sequencing, automation, etc. is controlled via Cubase and can be undone from there), the answer is no, I don't believe Absynth has an undo feature built in. If you mess up creating a sound you would need to either manually change the settings back, or worse case, reload the patch you were originally working with if you get to far off the path. Which is why you should save often when seriously altering patches (You can always delete any unwanted patches when your done, but they are nice to have if you need to go back a couple of steps without having to rebuild the entire thing).

oohhh, i had loaded absynth up as an fx, then sent my midi channel data through it. i wasnt aware i could load it as a vst instrument. thanks.
