It's almost as bad as these....the Star Wars collection from Fernandes:

It also begs the question: "WHO would actually buy these?"

One of the funniest things I ever heard on TV was when ESPN asked their guy, Jack Arute, to interview Dick Trickle...

"And now, here's Jack Arute, with Dick Trickle..."

hey Jake murde you are a fucking idiot.Kenny Schrader is a nice guy where Hitler was a mass murderer. What you did was not funny and was totally unacceptable. You should be kicked off of this site you fucking dick!

Ok guys...some people seemed to be "offended" by my artisitc "rendering" of Kenny Schrader. So I am submitting a new picture!
HERE IT IS!

"just IMHO!"

I don't like car-racing, not that there's anything wrong with that

Very few have done it. Charlie Chaplin and Mel Brooks made successful satires or comedys using Hitler. But, as we are seeing here, most people will be offended first and think about the joke second when we are glib about Adolph Hitler. That's why it takes a comic genius and a solid message to pull it off.

Twenty years ago, an episode of Hill Street Blues had the story line where JD LaRue was trying to manage bookings for a standup comic named Vic Hitler. Needless to say, audiences couldn't look beyond the comic's last name.

(I am a fan of over-the-edge guitars. I am too old for metal, so the edges I am fond of are from the 60s. Japanese guitars with six pickups. I don't have any of those, cause I like to have guitars that are in excellent working condition. So I go here when I need to look at pretty pictures: http://www.myrareguitars.com/toplevel )

japanese but not 6

Hi Only Fingers,
I love the linke to the MIJs etc. THere are a few good site with similar. Subway Guitars have some GREAT oddities in the field you are interested in. Here's a link to their "Kooky Japanese Guitars" page if you don't know them already.

Subway: I want to be there

Hey, Rayc

Nice looking guitar. (Two is fine on an archtop, isn't it? Six is a made-up number.)

I have browsed over to Subway Guitars, and studied it pretty closely when I was thinking about Danelectro. I liked the idea that he makes "current-production" instruments out of old and new parts. (At least, I think he does.)

I had a free afternoon when I went through SF about six months ago, and took the Metro over to Berkeley to try out the Danos. Alas, the address I got from the Web and the map that I got from Yahoo put me in the middle of a residential block. I am still scratching my head over that one. I will get another chance, and next time I will call to find out where the heck it is. If the Subway web site is so much fun, imagine what the store must be like.

Subway or Bus(t)

Only Fingers,
It's nice to know that Subways geography is as "unconventional" as their communication.
Try sending them an email message! It was a serious case of 1 way communication. I sent a doz. & most were bounced. I don't know what happened to the rest.
There does appear to be a little of the Castle Frankenstein about their ways. It'd be fun trying out a few monsters.
Cheers

Outerlimits/X Files moment.
I just noticed the Milton T shirt in the background of my pic. It segued rather unintentionally, (honestly), with the reconstructivist theory re: Subway.
As in "The Wolves of Calla" - coincidence is zero.

No, this is a sign that the end is upon us...Oh my word!...

What are you missing? That is an official Orange County Choppers guitar available at Sam Ash for $199.99. Now you can smell good wearing you OCC deodorant while drinking a cup of OCC coffee in your OCC apparel and playing your OCC guitar. If that's not a sign of end times, I don't know what is.

On the plus side, that guitar is free with 700,000 marlboro miles.

DAVE MARCIS FOREVER MAN!!!!!!! WOO!!

Dve Marcis has his own line of guitars called the wingtips.Go Kenny Go!!!!!

I love how the 'geniuses' signed it upside down. Brilliant!!!

If I had the money to spend on music equipment I wasn't even gonna use, I don't think I could resist something this cool.
I want BOTH of 'em! Hang 'em up on the wall and never play 'em! Who cares if they even sound good! My brother the star wars geek would be so jealous!
