Has anyone found a compressor plug-in with sidechaining that will work with SONAR 6?

I want to feed a vocal track into the sidechain of a compressor so as to reduce the volume of the acoustic guitar while the singer is singing.

Is the guitar on the same track as the singer?

If not, why not simply use a volume envelope on the guitar track?

Guitar and vocal on separate tracks.

I could, but i'm trying to be oh so clever :)

I found one called VBStripTool. I have not used the sidechain feature though but I know it has one. Sorry, I don't have the link handy.

That's the only one I know of that offers sidechaining in Sonar (though I've never used it, so can't say for sure how well it works.)

I have had limited success using Sidekick and Senderella, though I think both plugins use VST features that Sonar doesn't fully support, because they can both be flaky at times.
