Hello,
I'm new here, I'm a young rapper from bosnia, 16 years old, I recorded 3 songs with my cell phone and i tried to mix em' in audacity.. this is the result : youtube . com /watch?v=fG4STsdeXR4 .............. youtube . com /watch?v=O8yxZtinoRY ........... youtube . com /watch?v=HRLVb9NTj0g

But tomorrow I'm going to buy a sm58, and I'll try to make a boot.. any tips for me how to use the sm58, how to make a good boot.. and i hope i'll get some opinions about my songs, flow, lyrics etc. :)

In guitarplayrs defence, I wasn't sure either.
I thought maybe you were abbreviating bootleg, but I'm glad you weren't. :)

Take a look in the studio building section of the forum.
There is a mass of great advice in there if you have time to flick through.

An SM58 is a good mic to start out with. All you really need is a couple of duvets hung up behind you to get a decent sound. get pretty close to the mic, but use a pop sheild.
