Shure KSM 44, But what with IT???????

On one of my post i said i was gonna ge the SHURE KSM 44, and he said it was a great mic, BUT i better get a good mic pre to show it's full quality. So what im askin is if anyone recommends a good mic pre for this microphone?????

The simple answer is, the right preamp is the best one you can possibly afford. Avalon, Martech, Pendulum, Manley.-Richie
 
The Great River would be a nice match for the 44..But thats just me you gotta decide for yourself

I got a great idea. How's about the brand new "Hottsauce go fuck yourself" mic pre?

It's currently available in three colors: idiot, loser, and dumbass.
 
hottsauce_21, i told you that.. the VMP2 is great with the ksm44.. they're hard to find but if you find one.. get it.. if not look at somthing good.. you don't wanna have a great mic with a half ass preamp
i'm gonna be getting a A-Designs MP1 with a KSM44
 
Im using a KSM44 with a Focusrite Platinum Voicemaster Pro with the A/D S/PDIF card.

Can anyone provide a sample of what quality they get with there Shure KSM 44 and Mic preamp they have?

Yeah, after nearly 5000 posts, I'd be testy when a newby opens their mouth too.... Maybe you need to get a life Chessrock ;) Or maybe you should stop clicking on threads that you don't think will interest you... Obviously this chat forum stuff is wiggin' ya' out.
