I am looking to invest in 3-4 good studio microphones for toms. These sound like really good mics too me but was wondering if someone that has used them has any opinions on there sound quality, directional characteristics, and sturdyness. I have not used condensers on toms before. Or if you havent used them and like other tom mics i could use ideas. I am looking for mics with extended bass response lower than your standard sm57. And Md421's are out of my price range. :0) Also need to decide Between Beta 52 and Audix D6 if anyone has done any comparisons would be great help Thanks
