Shure Beta 52, PG 52?

I've not actually seen any of the PG line, which is being marketed as an "affordable" (i.e. "budget") alternative to the Beta or Classic lines. That doesn't necessarily make it a bad mic though.

From what I can see, they are both Neodymium mics, but:

•the Beta 52 is supercardioid while the PG is cardioid. In practise this will give the Beta the edge in rejecting other parts of the kit.

•the Beta weighs 21.6 oz, while the PG weighs 16.8 oz. One can assume the heftier weight translates into more solid and rugged physique.

•the Beta is 20-10,000hz, while the PG is 30-13,000hz. The higher end of the PG is not necessarily an advantage when mic'ing a kick, because it will pick up more cymbals.

•the Beta seems to have a more pronounced proximity effect

All that aside, the only real important spec is how it sounds to you when you try it! If the price difference isn't significant, I would personally just go with the Beta (between the two). BUT, you may also want to audition similar dedicated kick mics from AKG, Beyer, Sennheiser, Audix, and Audio Technica (all of which have their devoted enthusiasts) before making a decision.
