It lacks emotion.

The one thing I listen for with the axe, is emotion. Doesn't matter if it is perfect playing, cause without the feel....it is just that...perfect playing.

With feeling, it becomes a red hot poker of passion, searing into the hearts and souls of those who hear    :D :D :D

How long have you been playing myhatbroke?

Just a classical? Classical is very emotional!! Very!! I don't understand.

Total midi. It sounds like one of those greating cards that play music when you open it.

First of all, don't respond to this by giving me a lecture about what is and what isn't possible on the guitar.

I know what a guitar sounds like my friend, and that's midi if I've ever heard it. There is no finger action there at all, there is no wavering of pitch, there is no decay to the notes. Listen to that last note. That's ridiculous.

Stop trying to convince us that it's real playing.

Post it without any of that "special" processing if you want us to believe you.

How many mics exactly???? To mic one guitar???? Are you saying a Shure sm57 is a condensor mic?

(personally, I think you're trying to get away with something, but you picked the wrong group of people to do it with....busted)

Wow, those are some great midi songs!

Can you maybe, you know, try and play them instead of programming them???

Heh-heh. At least you could have had a screaming monkey in it or something.

Tim

I never said the sm57 was a condenser. He used the sm57 AND another shure condenser mic.

Fine don't believe me  .

I will post a mini album next week done with MY equipment. AND listen to attack, is that shredding MIDI too??? O please....

I'm trying to imagine, actually pretend would be a better choice of word, that this is real, so here is my critique:

This peice of music is rubbish, It is an embarasment, and you should be ashamed. There is no musical value here at all, and the 'guitar player' should hang it up now.

The mix however, is the best I've ever heard, the panning and dynamics are out of this world...

Okay, so the song "Attack" is real guitar playing, and pretty good guitar playing. If you want people to be impressed tell them about that one, not the one that is done with MIDI. Seriously dude....just stop it.

Even if it is real guitar, theres no telling if its actually him anyway. So, based on the threads he's started and posted on, plus his general dimeanor, I disregard all of his claims as utter bullshit.
