First recording ever

Fun little alt. punk song
I recorded my drummer first. Then the rest is me. Wost drumset and guitar ever. The lo-fi version sounds like crap but the hi-fi and mp3 sounds ok. I hard panned two guitars so the lo-fi just puts them both in the center and it sounds really bad.

Gear:

cheap Behringer eurorack mixer
3 sure sm58's
line 6 spider 2 head
behringer 4x12 cab
crappy karrera les paul copy from ebay $120
dell laptop with factory soundcard not even soundblaster
cubase vst32
enforcer drum set $200 bass head riped all the way we just duct taped it back and the cybols used to turn inside out. replaced with some zilgians still crappy heads though

astric69........recording quality ain't too bad for what you're using....drums are doo, but not too bad for what they are.

Nah, I've got an easier way (at least for me). I'll put it up on soundclick under a new band name and PM you the info...

Nice tune...collabs are just about the only reason I still hang around these boards...well, collabs and flame threads about "pros," lol. Sounds like there might have been an alignment problem with the guitar solo maybe? Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, I could never quite get it where it was intended... But it was close enough...

I like this thread :) So I'm gonna keep spamming so it keeps going hahahaha.

Seriously, I'll post another song that's not my favorite, but I think its different than most stuff that I do.

I'll point out wayyy up front that I had pitch issues singing, the delay on the vocals is a little annoying and I had some compressor/gate problems on the drums that made the hi-hat surge every so often.

... but I'll post it anyhow :)
