Should I buy a new mixer or Delta Omni?

Hi guys, I'm interested in everyones opinions here.

I have the following setup:

850MHz PC
Echo Darla
Soundblaster Live
Yamaha MU10 sound module
Cakewalk Pro audio
Soundforge
Soundcraft Mixer
Various outboard FX, compressors, Reverbs, Pod etc etc.

I record one track at a time, and use a mixture of my outbord FX and plugins. My problem is that my mixing desk has died - it's out of warranty, and besides I bought it in the UK but I'm currently living in the States.

So - do I replace the mixer, or do I go with something like a Delta 66 with the Omni i/o? I don't have any separate mic pre's right now, and I do want to have inserts for my outboard FX.

I would go with the Omni Studio and sell the Darla....you will be getting 2 preamps with that omni studio that are better than most consumer mixers preamps....plus you get a 24bit 96hz card......

Thanks Gidge, I think that was the conclusion I was coming to. It was getting to a choice between a Mackie 1402 or the Omni.

Gonna miss my faders and 4 band EQ though!
