Is there some way to make your charities list sortable by the % each company is giving? It would help us make the best use of the site and insure maximum contributions.

The charities list or the vendor list? The vendors, like Musician's Friend, are the source of the donation $. I can work on making a list of vendors ordered from highest donation % to lowest.

Thanks for the idea.

.. and who knows maybe even generate a bit competitive incentive as to those %'s. :D :)
 
I made a purchase today.....6 of the 603's....todays stupid deal....I was already at checkout when I realized that I needed to purchase through your site so I canceled the order and re-ordered everything....can you see records of each purchase through your site mrbowes?

I saw the transaction come through - thanks for making the extra effort to support the charities in your purchase.

Just so you know, I can't tell what people are buying exactly, but I can see the total $ spent on each transaction.
 
Alright, so I go to dealsforchange.org and then I can't find the link to the sites...I click on the name of the store I want to go to and it just says what % you guys give to charity(still at dealsforchange.org).
I'm just throwin' that out there, hopefully I'm just stupid and really don't know what I'm doing.

Otherwise, loving this idea! Definitely am going to spread the word around.

Thanks for the feedback - on each store page there should be a banner below the text which states the % donated to charity. Simply click on the banner and you should be redirected to that company's home page.

I have experience with the following two drum plug ins and recommend both:
Drumkit from Hell Superior - better sounds right out of the box
BFD - sounds are less processed (sometimes a good thing)

I know Musician's Friend and Music 123 stock BFD - not sure about DFHS.

Alright, well my firefox browser doesn't allow me to see the banner...

Problem identified: If you have Firefox plugin Adblock or Adblock Plus, you won't be able to see the banners.

I will try to work out a solution, but in the meantime, if you have Adblock and want to use Deals for Change, you'll have to disable the plugin when you're on the site.
 
I just added Overstock.com to the list of vendors at Deals for Change. 1-7% (1% on media products, 7% on most other stuff) of your purchase price will donated to charity.
 
Not having too much success with the Sweetwater affiliation... will update if it goes through.

Question for you though, when I check the Musician's Friend, Newegg, and Tiger Direct pages, I can't get the supposed link. Is it just me or is it the site? FWIW I'm using FF3 on a Mac.

***Figured it out. Anyone else having the problem, it's adblock blocking the links.
