Shockmount compatability

I just picked up a BLUE baby bottle off an affiliate forum and it came w/ the dinky lil ring mount and i was wondering if anyone had any information about compatible shockmounts that are possibly cheaper than the shockmount blue makes for 100 dollars...ive seen NADY makes one very similar, just wonderin if anyone had any ideas for me

That looks like it has a standard shock mount screw thread on the bottom. If so, a Samson SP01 should work well, though you may end up wanting to get a very large rubber washer or some self-stick felt or something to keep the mic from rocking back and forth in the shock mount, depending on the mic. Cheapest price I could find was $27 (well, not counting the one for $25 on eBay, but I figure it's worth $2 more to get it from a real dealer...).

That Samson mount might work well, as long as the threads match up.

The standard shockmount, ie MXL type, are just slightly too large and the Baby Bottle will slip through. There are several easy fixes, including just pinching it the clips that hold on the bands or some felt on the inside.
