It's been eons since I've posted a track to the Clinic. Here's one I recently wrote and recorded. I can't hear for sh!!t anymore, particularly in the high freqs, so who knows where the mix is on this. Let me know what needs help. thanks for listening.

Guitars sound slick.

Levels of everything sound real good.

No hyped up high end - so your ears didn't betray you too much. :). The high end on the cymbals/overheads might be a bit overdone. But not by much.

The delay on the vocal is a bit distracting. Maybe back off the wet/dry mix. Or shorten the delay time(s).

Great to hear music from you again!

Did you just buy the Mixland Subloom? It sounds like you may have forgot about the low end of the bass guitar. Just sayin...

One or those toms are way out in front. Even the snare just needs some love. It all isn't quite cohesive.

The bass and guitar should be more up front in the mix.

Why have I not mixed one of your songs yet even after having beers and steak in person? I'd love to have a stab at this. :)

Words are a bit indistinct during the louder parts.
Overall mix sounds well balanced to me.

Thanks everyone. So not overly hyped on the high end, but slightly crispy, and lacking some girth in the bass. I can work on that.

The drums are ezdrummer2 and I did struggle with getting the toms to sit nicely during the drum-pounding parts. To have energy but not too much dominance. There is a balance to be had there somewhere.

Jimmy, sure, would love to have you take a crack at this. I wanted to ask you before but didn't want to impose. Hell dude, I've got a whole album of songs you can mix for me.

As for the indistinct lyrics in some parts, eh, it's rock n roll. lol. Thanks so much for the listen and taking the time to comment.
