Alchemy slut
Hello all! I used to post here quite frequently but I've been off doing other things for a while now. Anyways, I started playing and recording more extensively again recently but it's been so long that I'm a bit rusty. I had my sound pretty well dialed in before but now I'm using a new guitar and various other pieces of new equipment, and trying to get back "in the groove" so to speak. I was hoping you guys could give me a critique on my sound, specifically the guitar as I'm a drummer first and foremost and guitar has never been my strength...I think I'm getting close to a pretty good sound but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the song I'm currently working on (haven't gotten very far yet as you can tell):

I think your getting back into your groove quite nicely..

excellent tune so far :)

I knew in the first few seconds I'd like it. Very cool start. Are you planning on vox? Keep running with it.

I wish I could get some vocals on there but I can't sing to save my life. Quite frustrating really...

I know how you feel. I sing like Alfalfa with a bad case of hemroids. That's on a good day.

Dude I think that sounds pretty good. Love the drums at the end. :D

Guitars sound nice and meaty. Bring up the bass and kick a hair.

Sounds fucken nice mAte. Like that melody and groove and mix. Vocals might come along to fuck it up ... They would have to be good to make it gel together.
Is that the fullest song you have of it, or do you have 3-4 minutes?

lol@vocals might come along to fuck it up.

That was cool. I was disappointed when it ended so abruptly. Need more.
