Several questions about mr-8hd

first question: I tried to undo a recording and the system came back with a file error 05? what the heck does that mean.

second question: I just purchased a used mr 8hd should I reformat the system to clear out the old junk on it?

third question: I tried a small recording and when I pressed the stop button the recorder stated that post recording was in progress and the measures kept going. what does that mean. the manual sucks for troubleshooting things.

any help in this is mucho appreicated

Certainly re-format the disk. This could help.
Get the latest software update from fostexinternational or from olivier recordings.

Thanks for the ifno terfyn I will try those two sites and hope for a better day of recording my music.Everything works fine after the upgrade and the clean disk.
