I Have remixed SEU and now have both versions available for your listening critique. I tried to bring the low end out more on version 2. Tell me what you think.

SEU 25 Apr

That's the latest version... The original is also on the same page.

Thanks,

Rest assured, I have not slept since the night before last as I am working to restore everything...

The NWR Media server in total had to be started from scratch, it was damaged beyond repair. I'm installing the needed modules as we speak, and I am then going to run some quick tests, and place it back online.

ETA, 1.5 hours...

Sorry about all this, but sometimes, it happens... If I had money for a second redundant server, that'd be great (but I don't have another $2800 layin around...)

Should be back up now, let me know if there is any errors in the forums on NWR

Sounds good. A little too much silence at the top and tail of the tune. The bass is solid. I'm not a big fan of the drum sound but it's appropriate for the tune and just a matter of personal taste. Very cool.

Thanks Track Rat (and everyone else) for your time. As you can tell I am using canned drums. The drums are something I wrestle with on every song... I wish I could play the drums...

The silences in the beginning and end will be removed. I think that the version 2 will be the final release. I really have a time trying to mix with those darned multimedia speakers. I see I am going to have trouble mixing the low end with every song until I get those replaced with some monitors.

Anyway, I really appreciate your time.

The Real Waldo - you have real cool website, keep up the good work! It's so cool to actually talk to the owner of a website...

pretty cool vice....my thoughts would echo Track Rat's...

those solos and such around 2:30ish were quite cool... sounds good!

I like it. Maybe try panning the leads between sections for a little more dimension? It's got a cool mood to it. The beginning lead levels should come up a bit I think too. Other than that it sounds great. Very clean.

Thanks SLuiCe, I might try that panning idea... I never thought of that...
