I am not sure what direction you are trying to go as far as your style. You can't start selling beats of that status at all.........Stick around this forum and continue to share your ideas and dudes will point you in the right direction. Ask questions, but be prepared for criticism at times too, it should only make you better..You are only 14, so time shouldn't be an issue, but perfecting your craft should be your focus.

Stick Around!

Yeah I agree with Trump, nothing worth buying/selling. Your not ready for that step yet but the good thing is your young and have time to learn. You have some good idea's as far as finding and using the samples you just need DRUMS! then from there you can learn how to manipulate your drum patterns and what kits go with what samples etc... In a few years (or once you master your craft) you may be ready to start selling beats to artist. If you hang around here long enough like Trump said you'll learn a few things that will probably help out your production.

Yea, I agree also. The reason I got'em marked is because I normally sell composed stuff, but lately I've been trying my hand at sampling.

Thanks

Sampling is not easy at all. I'd say the best thing is to get a drum beat going. You need a groove... Then go into the vinal and find a good sample to build around it. If you don't have a big beat and groove, no one will vide to it. At least in the hip hop genre.

What genre are you aiming for? Hip Hop? Drum n' Bass? Big beat? Electronic?

Cause I noticed that some of the samples were cut a certain way. If you are going for dance and Drum n' Bass, you can have samples skip and change. But, it has to be done skillfully and right. For example, FatBoy Slim.
