Setup Advice

Hi Everyone,

A couple friends and myself want to upgrade the current USB setup we have on our podcast. We usually record with 3 people, but sometimes we have more people and we've just been using USB mics plugged into hubs and garage band (aggregate device setup). But now we want to expand to use XLR mics and have it where we can record the laptop audio (to play music, clips and such) in the track (if that's possible). Anyone have a recommendation on a budget friendly setup? We have 4 Q2U Samson microphones . Also, we have 1 of these mics that has its own sound card of a sort, but we want to plug that with XLR also. Anyone have a recommendation for a mixer or audio interface to set all this up? Our main purpose now is to setup interviews and listen and react to things. If anyone can help us out, we would highly appreciate it as we are having a hard time trying to set everything up. We did have a Behringer Q1202USB but that one had issues where the phantom power would cause a hissing sound and when we would turn it off the condenser mic would work for a few seconds and fade out. A budget of around 300 is what we are looking to spend if that narrows it down. Thank you for the help everyone. PS: we also use this AMP to plug in all the headphones in.
