Hi all
A friend of mine has Begringer Europack UB2442FX-PRO and Digitech GNX3 All he needs now is a pair of monitors . And the question is Is it better to buy activ monitors or the monitors with an amplifier and what amplifier is good for that ????
Thanx

LUKI

can he buy a norma pair of speakers and any amplifier for it and plug it to the his behringer ??? (he is not looking for studio quality)

Either works well it's mostly what $$$ you have to spend and what's available in that $$ range. You want something that is fairly true so it allows you to get a solid mix that will sound good on lots of speakers. So home speakers or computer speakers are not the best choice.

Is "your friend" really you, ludicore? C'mon... fess up... :laughings:

It's a bit like "Dear Abby, my friend has a rash..." :)

How much cash is your friend wanting to splash around here? The trend is towards active speakers, but power amplifiers are handy things to have around..... and what is your friend planning on doing with this gear?

Ok My friend is an 50 y o man with cash he has nice behringer europack UB 2442 FX-Pro Nice digitech multieffect . Me Hmmm little presonus fire box (good enuff for me ) and GBL activ monitors so Kris can afford a pair of speakers :-) (betters than mines :-) Thanx people :P

... and he wants to plug every piece of audio to his mixer ... :-)
