Happy Newyear folks

I have a problem with session drummer

q. How do you write a song or a pattern from session drummer to a track

The help said

1 arrange pattern the way you want
2 open the track view
3 Patch session drummer into a track and create a song
4 select the track
5 open the console view and click the FX icon

This is my problem

#1 is ok
#2 is ok
#3 how do you patch session drummer to a track ?
#4 is ok
#5 I cant find any FX icon in the console view ?


Your help will be appreciated

I can play session drummer the usual wsy but I would like to write it to a track

I would assume that you are using Sonar.

#3 in console view there is a black square at the top of the track, right click and select session drummer there if its a midi track, if its an audio track the audio effects will be displayed. To write the session drummer "song" to the track, go to track view, use the cursor and select how many measure you want to use for the session drummer "song", then go to main toolbar at the top, under "process" select "apply midi effect to track".
I would recommend using track View over console. You can see the source and output as well as the effects in the FX section.

#5 I dont believe there is an icon for FX in Sonar. I think PA9 had one.

Toki... you're my hero! I spent all damn weekend trying to figure out how to write the Session Drummer to a track! Now my little poopy Sonny Landreth tune is going to get a major sonic face lift in the drum dept.!
