Session drummer question

Do I have to select midi channel, port, soundfont bank, in order to play a pattern using session drummer??.

I´m not so sure but I think that this is not necessary, if this is true why I can´t hear what session drummer is playing??. :confused:
 
Thanks guttadaj. It seems that the session drummer is somewhere drinking a beer, I have to call him again. I´m gonna try changing the MIDI outputs and see what happen. Maybe he has finished his beer and is ready to play for me. :D
 
Hope so. And next time make sure he brings a 6-pack so he can share some with you. ;) :D
 
And don't forget that if you want to see the drum pattern of the track in Piano Roll View, click on Edit> apply Midi effects.;)

Well, I change de midi out from sonar, to output 2 (don´t know what´s the text), but it works, now I can hear my almost drunk session drummer playing some beats for me. I´m very lazy, because I am a drummer, you know. I could play it micing my kit but.....let´s give some chance to another guy(new and upcoming drummers). :D
