sequencing drum machines separate tracks?

I own NI Maschine. Its wonderful as far as beat machine goes. I’m wondering if anybody who uses a drum machine sequences their drums separately or do you just make all the corrections to the kicks, snares and such in the drum machine and then import them into your DAW as one track?
