Hi all,
I'm thinking about expanding my studio with a sequencer of some kind. Now, I'm a guitarist/bassist/singer by trade but I'm pretty good with gadgets and new technology. I'm looking for something to make loops and beats and whole songs so that if necessary I could use it live.
My only experience so far has been with a Yamaha RM1X which I borrowed off a friend - it was a helluva lot of fun! I had written 3 whole pieces in about 2 hours it was so intuitive.
But - I was wondering if there was anything "better" out there - I've been looking at the MC505 and Grooveboxes but it's all a bit bewildering.
I don't mind if it's old gear, and I don't want to spend a fortune on the latest and greatest, but I would like something that's pretty flexible and sounds good!
I'd appreciate any help!
