I am looking for a very stable sequencer for live use. I have an alesis mmt-8, it's great and everything, but I feel that there is a lot of repetition for complicated songs, it is a lot of work.
I think I would really prefer a more visual sequencer--in fact, it would be great if I could do my sequencing on my computer(say fruityloops), and dump the midi to my sequencer so that I can take it on the road.
It also should have some ability for some live improvisation.
Money is not really a factor, however, I am not looking to spend a grand.
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks,
- Frank
