Those are rubbish. For quality sequencers you should look into annolog. Annolog is good. It has timing innaccuracies and stuff. It sound organic. And if you tweak the buttons just right maybe even orgazmic. I love annolog. Digital seqencers not so good. They have big graphic screens and stuff, it takes away creativity, and does not allow you to blindly twist knobs. Knobs are good. Kaybord grooveboxes for ammatures only.

this is a good one thanks yamaha rs7000

What other groove boxes from other companies is there please

You really need to read the manual for this sequencer a few times to understand what it does and doesn't do.

Sequencing isn't just for notes anymore!

How about sequenced filter sweeps??? Or waveform morphing???

Yes but im looking for more about NOTE sequencing

Analog or MIDI???

If it's MIDI stick with a soft sequencer like Sonar, Cubase, whatever.

If you wanna play around with CV go analog or hybrid.

Kenton makes some pretty nice MIDI > CV stuff.

no i like the groove boxes because they have lots lots of pre-programmed sequencing notes all readly done

I don't want to sit there and enter notes in it takes way to long

I want a sequencer box

I had an rs7000....It has alot of pre made sequences you can piece together.like hi hats..kicks..snares..basslines..melodies with synths...you can combine that with your own made sequences..they also have complete songs....Its a synth module/drm machine..lots of effects/knobs etc....so as far as flexibility its a good all in one box

Whats the hurry, you can make it a family venture.

It can be the center of attention on a saturday night.

It has been so in many happy homes.

Dont be square show your kids a good time
Show them that you care.

Does anyone make SMF file CD disks with sequenced data only ????

Download midi files and load them into a software sequencer like Noteworthy Composer. Cut and paste to suit

Or else get a copy of Dance Ejay.
