I sit on you.
Here's my set-up/situation.
Standard 5-piece kit, decent room
Mics using:
1x SM57 (top snare, another 57 available)
1X Beta52 (kick)
1x LDC Mic for OH (another SDC available)

Other Equipment:
12-channel Berri Mixer (6 XLR, 4 w/IMPs)
DMP3 2 channel Preamp (on its way!)
Computer with M-audio Delta 1010LT and Sonar 4

I know I can record drums, and know what to do. What I'm wondering is...How can I get each of my 3 mics on different tracks? I'm using the CD/TAPE outs from my mixer to my soundcard. So I only get that much. Could I use the insert outs on each channel to route each chanell to a different input on my sound card? When I get my DMP3, will that help me out any? I just want to know how I can get each drum mic on a different channel/track in Sonar 4. I know how to configure everything, I just can't seem to figure this out! Please guys....me needs to record!!!!!!!! :o

Okay, so I've been doing some research and whatnot. Since my sounds card has multiple ins (stereo RCA) could i adapt the lead from my mic to rca into the card, using 2 adapters, if I'm correct. It'd be:

Mic-XLR Cable-XLR Male to RCA Male adapter-RCA female to dual RCA males (Y)-Delta 1010LT.

Please guys. I've searched all over and can't seem to find anything i didn't alreay know. What about my Berri's Insert I/O for each channel?

Just plug the cables in halfway into the insert (one 'click'), and then you will have direct outputs to your interface. You will need to adapt the cables that are plugged into the inserts to go to rca, not the mic. YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST PLUG MICS INTO A PREAMP!!!!! Sorry for the yelling. As soon as you get your DMP3, then you can skip two of the crappy pre's in the Berry, and just go straight in and out of the preamp.

You're talkin about Mono 1/4 right? Just checking.
