This mic was recently checked by Sennheiser USA, and was declared to be in perfect operational condition. Cosmetically it is pretty clean. There are small dents in either side of the screen where someone tried to put a clip down there, I guess. I think it is a 541, as it is all black, and has just a bass cut switch. The switch cover is labeled MD441U, though.
