They generally retail new at around $95-99, and I saw a new pair for $77.99 on ebay today. The $50 ones are "skank free"...uhh, ok. I tend to not buy used cans - there are a wide variety of good options at many price points for new ones. I use ATH-M40fs cans and love them and have heard many good things about the Sennheiser HD280's.
