Sennheiser E835 VS Shure SM58

Which one you consider better?!

You can hear the e845 againts a sm57 if you like to give you an idea.

It's not the e835 but still, it's close.

Based on that example (mainly the acoustic guitar), I found the e845 gives a little too much low end, but still sounded nice. Nothing a little fiddling couldn't take care of. SM57 was my favorite tone for the instrument out of the whole lot.

Of course, those few examples aren't the best representation of the capabilities of each microphone..
 
FWIR Crosby, Stills, and Nash used OM6's live. If true, that's a hellava recommendation. The e835 sounds quite similar to the heil pr35...though it's a lot cheaper.
 
For vocals I vastly prefer the OM6 to all of them.
Interesting.

My bass player simply HATES both of my OM6, compared to SM58.
He says they sound "thin" and wimpy.

I've been mulling over some 835 or similar to add to the live sound mic locker.
