Sorry if this is a newb question but, i've been trying to figure this out on my own for a while and I'm starting to get a little frustrated.

I want to send my audio from one audio track to another audio track in order to "print" the plugins.

I usually do this with bus sends in PT7 but, I'm not sure how to set up the bus sends in Cubase5.

Any help would be highly appreciated. Even if you just point me in the general direction.

Thanks,
Matt

Hey, welcome to the site. Pretty sure all versions of Cubase 5 have a Freeze option. That will do what you want without bouncing tracks.

If not, then solo the track in question and perform an audio mixdown. There will be an option to create a track in the Mixdown dialog box.

have fun,

Good question, not sure if Cubase will send to another track to record it. You can export like Chilli said, I know that works. I'll have to try it as a send.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I haven't tried "freeze" yet but i'll give it a go.
I ended up export/importing them earlier and that worked fine, just not the same workflow i guess.

Thanks!

Freeze is better than printing in pro tools. Try it once and you will see why immediately.
