This is DEFINITELY ready to be sent to anyone. It's mixed very well.

real good. you trying to get on an indian label or something? I worked with this indian girl who listened to alot of like indian hip hop like this. Bollywood has a demand for this or just india in general?

Its really good though man send that shit out.

Good to go n4eem....best of luck with your search for a label...

you seem to have polished things up a bit, I still don't like the vocoder effect but, that may just be me, overall, nice mix, very proffesional, sounds good!!!!!!!

thanx alot for the reps! and all my polished tracks have not been uploaded on soundclick just yet, but will do soon! but i will send this to labels and see what response i get, thankyou!

Soundquality is good, mix is good.
This is very polished, and I`m not to familiar with the style.
But I`ve heard some, and this is sounds like it.

So good luck :)

IF you intend to send the demo tocompanies that deal with a specific niche market defined by the Hindi (?) language you are ready to go as they would accept and appreciate the ululation the vocoder approximates.
However if your intention is to send the demo to less specific demographic based companies I'd suggest you tone the vo coder right down so that it seems closer to a natural affectation.
Either way you've polished the work and you should look for a market.
Do you have the permission of the artist who paid you for the work?

hey rayc, i dont have anyone paying me! :( this project im working on is a partnership with the vocal singer, havnt got any sort of income just yet, thats why im soo desperate to sign a label to get the ship movin,

about the vocoder: to myself i love the electronic sound to any vocals out there, im a person who likes to experiment, i have had alot of knockbacks on the amount of vocoder usage, so i have cut fair few songs out with the vocalizer! but again i dunno why but using that electronic wacky sound jus makes my music feel complete(thats a disease i will soon overcome)

secondly: the singer is aging now, i have sooo much trouble keeping him in tune( thats a secret!!..lol :p ) he is well known in the community here, and i have had alot of peeps sayin.."change his style or add more effects etc etc"

keep em posted!! loving your reps!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but any record label of note won't touch you unless you have an established following of fans... no matter how good your demo is!

Sorry, but that's just the reality these days. :(

But your music is really cool and has a great vibe to it, so you never know!

Good luck!! :)

hmmm... true, well is there any suggestion on how to promote my music? and perhaps get recognized??...

MySpace is good for that. I don't know if you can perform this music live, but that would be the best way to gain fans. The internet and hearing music recorded and produced can only get you so far.

That's not exactly true. A BIG label wont touch you, but one might. Its a long shot of course....

Ohhh. Dont expect any money for years. And that's if you are lucky. They pay for expenses FIRST. After the mastering, artwork, promo, the discs are paid for with money earned by sales, THEN you start getting paid, twice a year. Even for a small label, that means thousands of sales before you start seeing a cent.

The tunes sound good, good luck.

Besides the fact that you're dreaming in techni-color like Buck and Daivd pointed out.....That's a terrible reason to be making music, in my opinion.

EDIT: Just to clarify, when I say "you're dreaming in techni-color", I don't mean that as an insult to your music or talent. Unfortunately, this is a business where actual talent has very little to do with success.

It's certainly a bad "get rich quick" scheme :D Even kinda known artists arent making much. It might be good eventually for one source of income out of many ( i.e. a few hundred bucks here and there), but it aint gonna be much.

Selling ONE CD is a herculean task. Selling 1000? Incredible, and very hard to do. With a record label, you wont see a cent if you only sell 1000. In fact, you wont make a second one, even a small label would drop you. My educated guess: if you sold 3,000, it would get you another opportunity to make another. 5,000 and you are a known artist, even though you might only see a grand or two. And that takes years.

some excellent points to be considered, thankyou... oh well im enjoying my music making evan if it takes me nowhere, i wont give up my daytime job..lol
