Why you gotta be so mean?
I have individual drum tracks, kick, snare, overheads, and toms. I have them all going to a group channel with all the drums, but the reverb on the snare isn't. So I have a compressor on the group track, but its not hitting the snare..... Help? Please!

If you have an FX channel and are sending to it from the individual snare channel before its routed to the group channel, then the output from the group channel will not contain snare verb.

If you want the drum group to contain snare verb, go to your FX channel and send 0dB to the drum group (assuming your controlling the verb volume from the level of send of the snare). This will mean a dedicated snare verb FX channel. Otherwise just solo the drum group and the verb FX channel if you want to hear snare verb.

As for the group compression not hitting the snare... no idea! If its having an effect on all the other instruments in the group and not the snare, thats weird. Make sure you arnt sending a copy of the snare signal out the main out through another route.

The reason it's not hitting the snare is because the reverb making the snare louder, is not being sent to the group channel. But the snare is. If that makes sense. Thanks! I'll try what you said.

I can't send it to the drum group. It's not under the menu, the only channel I can send it to is the master. Thanks!

Well your going to have to use a dedicated FX channel for the snare anyway sooo... use the reverb as an insert on the snare and remove the FX channel altogether. That way dry and wet is sent to the group down the same send.

Let me know if that works.

Yeah that works, I just hate found it like that. It just doesn't sound right to me. Thank though!
