Selling 2x RME hammerfall HDSP9652's

New member
One is used and in my computer ATM the other is new still in the box.

they are 52 channel 96khz / 24bit I/O


I cant say enough rad things about these cards they kept my studio going until I could afford pro tools.

asking $450 for the new one. and $300 for the used one.
 
just wanted to bump this once.

and I wanted to add these are for trade too.

I would be willing to take a dive for a sans amp on the used card.
 
First let me say that I am not being paid to endorse this dudes sale items.

Now: I have had the same card in my recording rig for almost 2 years and have NEVER had one single issue come up as a result of it.

Buy this card.

what is the difference between the HDSP and the regular 9652? Spec's look to be the same, so I must be missing something.
 
HDSP includes totalmix, which allows for zero-latency (effectively) mixing of ALL inputs and outputs. Very powerful, and VERY worth it if you don't use a hardware monitor mixer. You can mix 26 inputs with 26 software outputs to 26 hardware outputs.

I am not sure what you mean because last I knew there was the:

HDSP MADI
HDSP AES-32
HDSP 9652
HDSP 9632
and the HDSP TCO

Unless you are talking about an expansion board there was the 9652 and the 9632 - in that case....

He is right it does include the zero latency - but I think the largest difference is the 9632 could have 32 channels at 96khz where the 9652 could have 52 channels at 96khz, also keep in mind these cards are linkable if ever was a reason you needed 104 channels at 96khz..
 
Really? I guess I was never familiar with the older models.
 
The hammerfall 9652 is the original one and like mentioned above, it does not utilize the totalmix software. I still use the original one and it works great:D

This is why I was asking - I have two hammerfalls now, and thought maybe there was a benefit to upgrading - I don't need totalmix, but someday I may want to switch to 96khz - but then I'd need 4 hammerfalls! :eek:
 
Does the original Hammerfall not do 96k? I thought it did for some reason. As far as I know there is not much difference between them.
 
Just an update I also have a RME AEB4-O the 4 TRS outputs $199 new I am asking $100.00 I also still have the 2nd HDSP9652.

Hey man, haven't heard back from you - still waiting for the SPDIF breakout box for the RME I bought from you.
