Selecting MIDI outputs...

I have Cakewalk Music Creator (2002), and it has usually installed and worked perfectly for me. But just recently this computer broke and I had to reinstall windows. After installing Cakewalk again, upon opening it it says to select MIDI outputs, but gives no options for outputs. So basically, I need to know how I can get the MIDI features to work with it...anyone wanna take a guess? Thanks.

It's DirectX related problem. You used to have Microsoft GS Softsynth with your old setup, but now it's not there any longer. What Windows anyway?
