Seeking Garage Studio Designs

I'm looking for some info on how to build a garage recording studio. Blueprints, articles, websites etc.

The Garage is 18 feet wide by 25 feet deep. The roof is standard A-frame style.

Any info on building a studio in that?

Ok. I assume you want a control room and a studio room.

Is that it? Do you want a special vocal room? Drum room?

Personally I would just do the two room. Also - can you explain where the door to the garage comes in from. In other words - you want the door from the house to the garage to probably enter into the control room.

I am so dammed jealous of you people who have a place for a studio. I'd kill to have it because aside from money for equipment it's what is holding my business back from opening up for another 2 years!!!!!!!!!!!

so Tell me where the door enters. Middle far middle or corner of a long or short wall.

And which wall has the garage door on it.

I assume (since you'll have to) that you're going to close up the garage door completely. Or build a damn good fake wall in front of it!

You're question is too simple to ask then.

Just make the door from the house enter the control room.

Make the control room any damn size you want - and the rest will be the iso.

Make sense? it isn't worth drawing up - to simple!

John Sayers, Thanks...that's exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for. What I have is a slightly oversized 2 car garage. Any other things like that would be perfect!
