[Bulls Hit]

This was a tune I finished and parked for a few months. Listened again recently, and the whole thing just annoyed the hell out of me. The vocals were irritating, the arrangement was naff and it just went on and on. So I chopped 40-something seconds out of it, added some effects and moved a few bits around. Any thoughts on this version would be great...

Wow this one slipped past pretty quick...

Mix sounds fine to me...a little cleaner than some of your others. Stylistically, I was surprised. Very different...almost industrial at times...tons of changes though, so something for everyone . Not too long by any means. The vocal effects got a bit overwhelming at one point, but still well done performance and recording-wise. I really liked the guitars and the vocals during the clearer parts.

This song is pretty cool. The drums and guitars sounds really good. The FX and sounds are pretty cool. The only thing is that it was a little disco pop with the snare sound. Which is not a bad thing. Those are some heavy banging drums.

have you considered a dub mix - I mean Dub as in the reggae offshoot of the mid to late 70's? I mention it because you're not afraid of big reverbs and spaces in your music.
This actually gives me a small sense of an early Psychedelic Furs song that they might have really swung with & then chickened out on.

The choppy intro wasn't my fav - I thought it might do with a echo tail though. As always I enjoy hearing the variety of sonics and sounds you put into your tunes. I think the mix overall is great nothing I would suggest too loud or soft. Everything has it's place. Like another song I heard tonight this would be well suited as a TV piece - either a backing track to a commercial or action show, or something like an iPod clip...then millions!

Hi Bulls. Is that all synth? Some of the leads reminded me of the Pixies and the song in general of Regurgitator the Australian band. I thought it was lacking some shine in the highs. Maybe that's the sort of song you meant it to be, maybe it's my Mackie MR5's.
