Second Song for Concept Album. Rise To Power.

This is the second song for my concept album. It's definitely got a dark sound so it will have to go towards the end of the album. Maybe in the middle somewhere. I don't know yet. Hows the mix? I can't tell at the moment... Been at it for too long!

Sounds pretty good to me. Is the whole album going to be instrumental? I fear it would be hard to get your concept across that way?

As to the mix, nothing stands out as being bad on precursory listen.

Sounds pretty awesome. Are all the instruments artificial or is stuff like the guitar directly miced? Drum machine or real drums?

Hey, thanks for listening guys. I don't think all the songs will be instrumental. I'd like to add some vocals here or there. But, I know that the musical atmosphere will be the main focus for the album. As for the instruments, I'm using synths from Omnisphere and Absynth 5. I'm using Superior Drummer and Addictive Drums for the percussion. I am using real guitar but its being recorded through my RP1000 via USB. It's all being recorded and mixed in Mixcraft 6. I really like its no nonsense, straight forward interface. It just works. As for the amp models, I've been playing around with the 5150 II, the Mesa Dual Rectifier, and the JCM2000. All in conjunction with a tube screamer stomp and either a Marshall or Mesa cab. The guitar is a Fernandes Vertigo Elite. I've been using the Sustainer a lot! Thanks again for listening!
