I have a BR-900 and I would like to know what is S:confused:crubbing and for what purpose is it used?

Don't associate the word with "cleanup". Scrubbing is a feature that lets you play back a chunk of audio by highlighting its waveform on your monitor or screen.

It used to be the term for rocking tape reals back and forth to find a certain point, like the beginning of a note. It was used to find and mark a spot for editing purposes.
