How come you have so many unnecessary (or seemingly unnecessary) automation points on Audio 15?
 
it's a backup vocal track...dont recall all the details...

this is a home recording studio...we're not of college of the finer points of automation. Its a hobby and we have fun with it a little less boring recording than another self righteous flamingo player (which we have plenty of in this town)

I end up with automation lines looking like that when using faders (it seems to draw in more than are necessary).

I never bother to erase them.

That makes sense, actually.

If you you're using the fader while recording, the hand would be jerky (because we're all human, of course!) and that would mean everytime we stop, even for a very small amount of time, an automation point would be made.
