Screamo vocals Mic

Ok probably been asked before so i apologise, but what mic would you guys to record a guys screamo voice?? I use the SM58 atm, wondering if something else might give me better results?? Kinda the main kind of vocals i'll ever be recording so looking to get a decent mic for this purpose. Cheers.

SM58 or Beta 58 is a good choice. If you want something with increased sensitivity, I've had good luck with the AT-4033.

If the vocalist is going to be moving all over the place during tracking, the SM58 might be the only way to go. In this case, it's really about getting the performance from him/her.

I've also heard goods things about the SM7B for screamo type vocals. But you can't go wrong with the above mentioned microphones.

Ummmmm... Yeah. The only band really bestrowed with the moniker *fashioncore* is eighteen visions, and they're shit. The three bands i spoke about are ugly mothers, and dress like retards. But whatever.

treymonfauntre, everyone has their own taste of music and if you dont like it you dont need to bitch about it man lol... like i like all types of music...but dont like country... thats like the only thing I dont like...but I'm not gonna bitch about it. If someone likes it then I respect them for it. Thats the problem with music now-a-days... to many people bitch about someone likeing one band or one genre of music... all in all its just music, anyone can like what they want and shouldnt be shat al over if they like what they want. Just wanted to say what needed to be said
