I know im new..sorta..ive been observing. I think that the best way to do this is--by my own experince-- to do this...Take two mics point them both at the singers mouth on the stand(s) and dont tell him which one is on..tell him not to move or touch them. Or if this doesnt work u could always A. Strap him down B. Cut off his arms or C.Lock him in a closet, cut a hole in the door, tell him to sing into the hole, and shove a mic right outside the whole...im falling towards C. just make sure he cant fit his hand through the hole...But really all you should have to do is tell him/her that if they want to have the best recording that cuffing the mic isnt going to do anything and that if he wants that effect to just use distortion and or the low hz
