After a quick skim through the 410's Manual .... I'd say read and re-read section 10 and 11.
You should be able to setup direct monitoring via the M-audio control panel.

Hey a question.
Are you using reason with audition? I mean is reason rewired to audition?
Hows it work I mean is it smooth? I have reason 3.0 and would like to get audtion.

Well what I do is record a beat in reason, then when i have sufficient amount of the song recorded, I open up AA and record vocals. Yes I use reason as a slave program to AA when I record my raps, as this eliminates me having to make it a MP3 or WAV file first. Problem is it takes awhile to close a session cuz u have to close Reason first. With my setup, it playsback smooth but you can barely edit anything in REASON cuz tha tempo is off. But it is cool cuz the tempo of the AA controls tha tempo of the reason file. Also you can experiment with remixes to songs, by simply just loading up a different beat... i love doing that!!! youd be suprised at how good some of it sounds!!!

and yes i will read that manual and contact Maudio, but best believe that I will be back on here, so keep this thing going!!! aight peace!

What do you mean the tempo is off?..........
Does AA tell reason what tempo and what time to start ect?

yes AA tells reason the tempo, and you can edit the speed in AA, you cant in Reason (because its tha slave program) reason will be perfectly in sync with AA in timing!

im sorry i didnt mean tha tempo is OFF in reason, but the bar that runs across the sequencer when it plays will be off like 1/2 bar and you cant really edit the music really great in reason cuz tha latency will be like a sec. off!!! (at least on my computer it is)

hope that helps

o hey my bad, this problem was fixed on MONDAY

turns out it WAS a software routing problem on my M audio

haha all i had to do was simply click the "OUT 1/2" button on tha "ANA 1/2 in" panel

I had a sneaking fealing that it was a issue with the m-audio software, but "NO! Its not a software issue it hardware" :p

Just playin! :D I glad you got it worked out. NOW BACK TO YOUR RECORDING! And thats An ORDER! :D :D

WOO HOO PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!!!! YEAH! :D

Later
