Sc88 GM versus GS

Dear fellows!
I'm writing stuff on Sc88, which has the sysex in GS style. Some people need my files, but want to have it in the GM standard, because they are unable to read my files. Does anybody know how to alter them from GS to GM in an easy way and in this keeping most of the effect settings and banks? Tough one???

Head on over to SCUG (Sound Canvas Users Group) where a member has written the definitive article on compatibility of files written on one Canvas and played on various models of Sound Canvas.
Sysex is as the term is derived, system exclusive. You need to know the target synth to really know how to select the patch or effects commands for the file.
yes- tough one.
Or stick to a standard and simplify the problem. You can make the Canvas play drums on any channel, but you'll have hell to pay if you put drums on anything but channel 10.
