this is probably a stupid question but i cant figure it out...

Im trying to save songs to use at another persons studio onto CD, but when I save it just saves the program sequence info, but not the audio itself...what am i doing wrong??

It sounds like you are saving the session. The .ses file is a proprietary Audition format that calls up the saved .wav tracks (the actual audio) and arranges them in the multi-track view window.

Be sure you are saving each track. I'm not sure how you would reassemble them in other software. Maybe someone else knows more about it than I do.

If you're transfering into a separate DAW at another studio, there's only one way to do it and ensure all tracks line up correctly... and that is, to save each wav as an individual mixdown from location zero.

However, if you're trying to save an Adobe session to import into another users Adobe DAW, then simply go to File, Save session as, click the box that says "save copies of all associated files" and save it to your CD media. You'll get an exact copy of the session, plus all the audio files.

That should work: they both use the same format. I sometimes open sessions up in CEP that I recorded in AA and vice versa with 0 issues.
