Santa Claus - Please Come Back Next Year

This is a song I wrote and recorded in the last few days. Someone told me it sounded pink floydish so I went all the way with that.

At any rate, I am trying to become better at mixing in Sonar X1 producer so any mix suggestions greatly appreciated.

PS: I am not a singer. But I like to write songs.

 
The mix keeps changing throughout the song. So I'll break it into the parts I hear.......
First 3rd - the vocals are not in the same room as the rest. Too far back. Weird effect. The guitar is the same and kind of fizzy. Drums are washy and need more snap on the snare.
Middle 3rd - better without the effect but still the vocal reverb is still not matching the song.
Last 3rd - the vocals have the same effect as first 3rd, only louder. They still are not blending with the mix.
Take all the effects off and remix everything into the same room.
