Hi BeatleFred, many thanks for your reply, I'm going to check and try to see what's going on, otherwise I can change the complete block with one from another brand and do the electrical adaptation, thank you very much for your help.

I can’t tell from the pics what’s “slightly relaxed.” It’s not the tension of the spring that affects the sound, it’s the size and type of spring wire as well as the coil size and number of coils. How do you know this “slightly relaxed” spring is the cause of your imbalance? How did you measure the imbalance?
Hi Sweetbeats, The imbalance occurs at the level of the wet signal, by swapping the springs the problem concerns one of the two springs.

Thanks for your reply.

I know this is an older thread, but i would like to add the following;
if you take a look at the schematic, you will note that the reverb tank itself has one input transducer, and two output transducers (right and left channel).

I believe to find that tank as a replacement part may be unobtanium.

The two springs are most likely slightly different wound and possible one spring is of a finer (smaller) wire diameter. This results in slightly different frequency response as well as delay reflection characteristics.

Look for a spare donor unit will be easier as previously stated.
Now, If you want to play with it, you can find outboard tanks all day long on ebay or from used home organs, etc. or, if you want to replace the onboard tank with two discrete tanks. Or, To really have fun, you could build a tank to match if you are really handy with time to burn.
