Sans Amp Gt-2

what do you guys think of this pedal? It seems great for direct recording. I've heard good things about it. Right now I have a vamp2. I really like it but I want to try other modellers. I play mostly black/doom metal. I'm looking for a raw crushing guitars.

ive got one and it does what it does, which is try and make it sound like you're playing through a good amp very well. you can get a massive massive range of sounds with it, and it will certainly do for raw crushing guitars. id recommend it for anything!

I used to do scratch tracks with a SansAmp Original (daddy of the GT-2), you know the one with the dip shits...I mean switches. Anyway, it used to get annoying how many people thought those were live amp tracks. Yes, it sounds excellent, and very usuable, however it's no tube amp with a mic or 2 on it.

Actually I used to get a killer bass sound out of that box. I want it back, scuse I'm off to eBay. Later.
